Renault Duster 2012-2018
Renault Duster is memorable for its design, off-road performance, level of safety and reliability. It is one of the most popular all-wheel drive SUVs, which has all the necessary features of a modern car.
The car began mass production in 2010 and immediately gained recognition around the world. It is the result of the work of two auto giants: Renault and Nissan, and the basis for it was the Nissan B0 platform. Two thirds of all components for this model were borrowed from other models of French and Japanese manufacturers.
The car has a modern exterior, compact dimensions for its class, which makes it “its own” in urban traffic. The length of the body is 4315 mm, and the wheelbase is 2673 mm. The ground clearance is 205 mm, which is enough to overcome significant obstacles.
One of three engines can be used as a powertrain. The base version is equipped with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with a distributed injection system, which develops 102 hp. In the front-wheel drive version, the car is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, and in the all-wheel drive version – a 6-speed gearbox.
Opel Astra 2016-2021
The fifth generation of the car was presented in 2015 in Frankfurt. The new generation has the same proportions, but it has become brighter, lighter and more technologically advanced in all respects.
Externally, the car is very reminiscent of the Monza concept. The front end features stylish lighting, with optional LED matrix headlights. The concept is complemented by an original bumper with an aerodynamic shape, and in the rear part – pointed lights and a compact luggage compartment door. The dynamic appearance is enhanced by ribs on the sides and a soaring roof with dark rear pillars.
Inside there were no less grandiose changes. Almost everything in the interior has been updated, including finishing materials. The new version is equipped with a three-spoke steering wheel and a large set of controls, analog dashboard with a large display.
The base engine is a petrol 1-liter turbocharged and direct injection motor with a power of 105 hp. It works in combination with a five-speed manual gearbox or five-range robotized, which allows the car to accelerate to 100 km / h in no more than 12.7 seconds.
Nissan Leaf 2011-2017
It was the first successful electric car to be mass-produced and is still in demand today. All representatives of the first generation were equipped with 107 hp engines and a 24 kWh battery. The maximum mileage on a single battery charge was 175 kilometers.
In 2013, a new version of the car was released with three interior trim options, a fast charging option and 200 kilometers of range, which was achieved through intelligent powertrain and battery management.
The base 2013 version came with power front and rear power windows, climate control, power mirrors and Bluetooth. The advanced version, the Visia+, added alloy wheels, safety glass and cruise control. The version came with a rearview camera, automatic headlights and wipers, while the Tekna had a leather interior, 17-inch wheels and a Bose Hi-Fi audio system, as well as heated seats and mirrors.
KIA Cee’d 2012-2018
The previous generation looked quite boring, but after the update, the KIA Cee’d model has been noticeably transformed. It has a radiator grille “tiger nose”, which made the car more spectacular, as well as headlights with LED running lights. The front part of the car became lower, and the proportions of the coupe are defined by the front pillar, a wide roof line and a spoiler in the rear of the car, giving the exterior a sporty character.
The new generation is longer and lower than its predecessor, which has improved the car’s handling. To improve driving dynamics, the Flex Steer system has been applied, with three modes: Comfort, Normal and Sport. This allows the driver to vary the level of steering assistance and the strength of the feedback.
The powertrains in the Kia Ceed have become more fuel efficient and this is especially true for the 1.6-liter 126 hp diesel engine. The version with this engine has become one of the most popular models in the range as it offers the lowest running costs.
Skoda Yeti 2009-2017
One of the important milestones in the history of the Skoda automaker. This model was the predecessor of the Karoq and it was it that became a truly competitive crossover in the automaker’s lineup. It is a good family car, which since its first appearance remains a competitor to such crossovers as Peugeot 2008, Kia Soul and Nissan Qashqai.
The gasoline front-wheel-drive version has become more popular, but if you have to drive more off-road, choose the all-wheel-drive diesel. In the engine palette for this model are the well-known powertrains of Volkswagen Corporation. In the lineup of gasoline motors: 1.2 liters (105 hp), 1.4 liters (122 hp) and 1.8 liters (152-160 hp). Diesel are represented by units 1.6 TDI (105 hp) and 2.0 TDI in three variants of power (110, 140 and 170 hp).
Lexus IS 2013-2020
The model is presented in seven configurations with a choice of two engines, but the real favorite among them is the IS 300h F Sport, which is explained by the magnificent interior design, pleasant exterior and excellent handling.
Lexus IS has a more spacious interior, a wide stance and a longer wheelbase. Passengers have more legroom in the rear seats, and the trunk allows you to carry larger loads. Most versions are equipped with rear folding seats and a driver’s seat with good support and comfortable seating, which distinguishes this generation from the previous one.
Premium materials are used in the interior design. Touch switches are provided to control the air conditioning, so only a light touch is needed to activate the system. In the new version, the IS has been given the option of a hybrid gasoline-electric drive with excellent environmental performance and fuel consumption.
BMW 4 Gran Coupe 2014-2021
The BMW 4 is much more stylish than the 3 Series and more practical than the 4 Series Coupe. In some ways, the BMW 4 Gran Coupe mimics the larger 6 Series, but this version has four doors, looks more elegant, and has more interior space. When you look at the Gran Coupe, it appears to be a sedan, but its design hides the rear end of the hatchback. The trunk door gives access to cargo space of up to 480 liters.
Rear passengers have more headroom, thanks to a roof line that is 12 mm higher and 112 mm longer than that of the 4 Series Coupe. At the same time, the car’s length, width and wheelbase remain unchanged.
Seven powertrain options are available to buyers. Fans of classics will find gasoline engines: four-cylinder turbo engines 420i and 428i (with an output of 181 and 242 hp) and six-cylinder engine 435i with an output of 302 hp.
The lineup also includes the 435d xDrive with 309 hp and the 430d with 254 hp in rear- or all-wheel drive.
Ford Focus 2011-2018
Ford Focus – one of the most successful copies of modern automobile industry, which is available with the body of a sedan, hatchback, station wagon. Since 2011, the world got acquainted with the third generation of the model. In the third generation, the car is equipped with power units of 1.6 liters with a capacity of 105 and 125 hp, as well as a 2-liter motor with a capacity of 150 hp. Used cars are most often sold with these engines.
Transmission in the third generation can be manual five- or six-speed, as well as robotized with six steps. The new generation has become more comfortable, and as options became available heated steering wheel, parking assistant, automatic braking system in case of interference in front, control of movement in its lane, etc. The car is distinguished by good handling, which is provided by the suspension “MacPherson” in the front and multi-lever Control Blade – in the rear.
SEAT Leon 2013-2020
SEAT Leon is an automobile of the Spanish manufacturer SEAT. In the most current, third generation (2013-2020 of production), it has several modifications – station wagon, 3- and 5-door hatchback, and the widest range of engines in the configuration. Available copies with gasoline and diesel engines 1 liter, 1.2 liter, 1.4 liter, 1.5 liter, 1.6 liter, 1.8 liter, 2 liter, different power from 110 to 300 hp, with front-wheel drive and manual and robotic preselective gearbox.
Visually SEAT Leon is similar to Golf Estate. The interior is very spacious. Even if the driver and front passenger move their seats back as far as possible, there is still enough space for rear passengers of any height to feel comfortable. The SEAT Leon is great for city driving and as a family car. It provides a very large trunk. The advantages of the model are comfortable steering wheel, good handling, dynamics, excellent visibility, convenient control panel.
Honda CR-V 2012-2018
Honda CR-V is a full-size SUV that looks too traditional to claim the status of fashionable. It is more appreciated for its practicality, decent equipment and comfort. The car is a five-seater, but it has a very spacious interior, and also a roomy luggage compartment. The most favorable for the purchase of used autos of the 4th generation (2012-2018 years of production). In this generation, the available configurations are 2-liter gasoline motor 150 hp with front and all-wheel drive, manual transmission, as well as an all-wheel drive version with an “automatic” box, 2.4-liter gasoline motor, all-wheel drive. working in tandem with a variator.’
